The Hill: Intelligence chairman accuses Obama aides of hundreds of unmasking requests
The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is accusing top political aides of President Obama of making hundreds of requests during the 2016 presidential race to unmask the names of Americans in intelligence reports, including Trump transition officials.
Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, said the requests were made without specific justifications on why the information was needed.
“We have found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes, including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information,” Nunes wrote in the letter to Coats.
The letter was provided to The Hill from a source in the intelligence community.

I am always sceptical of U.S. Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes .... he is a partisan Republican .... but when I see him and the ACLU complaining about the same thing .... the unmasking of U.S. individuals and surveillance/privacy concerns ..... it catches my interest. It should be noted that the Obama officials in question are all claiming that their reasons for why they requested these unmaskings involved national security concerns. The problem with this denial is that in the case of Susan Rice, when it become known that investigators wanted to look at her files on this issue, they were then told that they are at the Obama Presidential Library, and they are sealed for five years .... Something is wrong here, and I am willing to bet that this story is not going to die.

Keep in mind that the only crimes committed in this whole mess are the unmasking of Flynn and the Wasserman billing scam. It's all Democrats so far.

But my gut is telling me that Robert Mueller will be issuing subpoenas soon, and where will that lead will be anyone's guess.
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) pointed to his House counterpart Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) for the narrative that former national security adviser Susan Rice improperly "unmasked" or revealed the identities of Americans swept up in intelligence reports.

The chairman of the committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), has since cast the practice of “unmasking” of U.S. individuals and organizations mentioned in classified reports as an abuse of surveillance powers by the outgoing Obama administration.

All he cut & paste fake stats/fake news in the world ain't gonna change the facts. The fact being that Democrats have colluded, conspired and connived their way into humiliating political losses and will likely result is more democrat arrests and prosecutions over money laundering (Bernie Sanders ,Wasserman) election rigging (Wasserman again) unmasking and leaking (Rice,Powers, DNC et al). it is a satisfying slow motion unraveling of the democrat criminal conspiracies that will likely lead to stronger GOP majorities in both houses and a second term for Trump.
I've also noticed far fewer (zero actually) rent-a-mobs at airports, city centers, etc. another fact is that dem fund raising is at an all time low. I.E.: they're damn near broke while GOP coffers are stacked. The trends are bad for the left. No ideas, no solutions. Just hateful snark and violence. I'll be enjoying the liberal meltdown to come in 2018.
