Nadette De Visser, Daily Beast: From ISIS-Lands to the Netherlands: Jihadists Try to Get the Press to Help Them Come Home
As Mosul falls and Raqqa comes under attack, European jihadists have decided they don’t really love death more than their enemies love life. But… nobody wants them back.
AMSTERDAM—Now that the self-proclaimed caliphate of the so-called Islamic State is falling apart in Syria and Iraq, many European jihadists are looking for ways to come home—and some of the Dutch ones have been reaching out to the media, hoping it will save their lives.
Just last week two fighters contacted TV shows in the Netherlands to announce their return to Dutch soil, a third contacted the police.
The grim irony of such a ploy is obvious. Many would-be holy warriors from European backgrounds have been associated with organizations that took journalists hostage, ransomed some, tortured and beheaded others. When they thought their groups were on a roll, jihadists bragged to their Western enemies “we love death as you love life.” And all too many times in France, Britain, Belgium, and Germany they have slaughtered innocents by the score.

WNU Editor: The Islamic State's collapse has started a different type of "refugee crisis" .... Western Jihadists wanting to flee back home to escape justice for the crimes that they have committed in Syria/Iraq. Case in point .... German Girl Who Joined ISIS in Iraq Speaks: 'I Just Want To Go Home' (Newsweek). With time there is going to be a process to hold people accountable for the crimes that they committed .... the question that needs to be asked is .... when peace is finally restored in Iraq and Syria in a year, five years, or more .... will Western nations repatriate ISIS war criminals back to these countries to face judgement. I have my doubts that they will comply .... but I guess in the end they will (but) dependent on what will be the state of Syria and Iraq a few years from now.

They crossed the line and there is no going back.
You bet they're hauling ass back to Europe. If they're picked up by Iraqi Army, they'll be brutally killed.
IT'S,
FOR,
REALS,

It's cheaper to fly home if you are cremated first, coming home in a casket is way more expensive...I hope someone told them of these two and only options.
So people wanted U.S. soldiers to face Iraqi standards of justice.
Some of these same people do not want western war criminals, who fought for ISIS to face Iraqi justice.
IRONY!
They're Muslims.
Of course liberals in Europe will take them back.
Barbed Wire and Lamp Post sound OK to me, after a trial of course we must do things by the book or our do-gooders will scream bloody blue murder.
Rock and roll.
Shoot, Canada will take em back, probably offer them a couple of million for their past hardships!
Today's Canada
"Some of the Conservatives' insertions attracted controversy, including increased detail about the War of 1812 and a warning that certain "barbaric cultural practices," such as honour killings and female genital mutilation, are crimes in Canada.
Getting rid of both those elements was what former Liberal Immigration Minister John McCallum had in mind when he said early in 2016 that the book was up for a rewrite. But although work has been underway for over a year, there's no date set for publication of a final version.
In the draft version, the reference to barbaric cultural practices is gone, as is the inclusion of getting a job as one of the responsibilities of citizenship."

My theory is that these ISIS (SISSY) fighters wanted to fight/live in a war zone for the following reasons:
a. really believed in it / brainwashed / whatever
b. wanted to be part of a growing caliphate in hopes they become an important person in it.. like a minister or something :))
c. enjoyed the laws of isis, e.g. being able to be with young girls, kill gays etc.
d. always wanted to kill/torture someone, but afraid of consequences -- and in the caliphate you go to heaven for kill an infidel
e. wanted to make money of it / benefit financially, maybe through robbing, plundering (similar to point b, but more of a hit & run attitude)
f. are generally mentally unstable
g. really feel left behind by capitalism
I think a mixture of all these points is what motivated them to go there.. now these people are heading back to us..
