It's a bit hard to understand, but Americans and the west in general are very popular in Vietnam. Vietnam is focused on what the west does and despises China. People want to travel to the US and Europe, work, study and want to live there. When Obama came to visit he was very popular, especially among the youth. Expect thousands to view and cheer the arrival of this carrier.
