Did A Top Venezuelan Leader Put A Contract To Assassinate U.S. Senator Marco Rubio?

Miami Herald: Powerful Venezuelan lawmaker may have issued death order against Rubio

One of Venezuela’s most powerful leaders may have put out an order to kill Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, a fervent critic of the South American country’s government, according to intelligence obtained by the U.S. last month.

Though federal authorities couldn’t be sure at the time if the uncorroborated threat was real, they took it seriously enough that Rubio has been guarded by a security detail for several weeks in both Washington and Miami.

Believed to be behind the order: Diosdado Cabello, the influential former military chief and lawmaker from the ruling socialist party who has publicly feuded with Rubio.

At a July 19 Senate hearing, the same day he was first spotted with more security, Rubio repeated his line that Cabello — who has long been suspected by U.S. authorities of drug trafficking — is “the Pablo Escobar of Venezuela.” A week ago on Twitter, Cabello dubbed the senator “Narco Rubio.”

No matter what Venezuela want to do, this country is going downhill and for the bottom. In this case we don't know what will happen, but at the end it will be ugly.
Do America has to do anything on it? Absolutely NO! That's sad, of course, but experience tell us that every time America want to help, America take the blame if that's not 1,000,000,000 % successful. Let people do what they can, America has its plate more than full.

Beware, that is a possible excuse for U.S. to move the next criminal war against a foreign country.

They are in search for that.

This is a new Plan Condor like that against the Chile of Allende.

YC: Venezuela is falling apart. There is no possibility of the US coming up with an "excuse" to engage in military action against the country. What may happen is America may be pressured into acting by certain foreign elements and America may cave in to the pressure. Frankly America does not have the resources to take military action against Venezuela at this time.

Since Venezuela is falling apart what I would be more concerned about is Venezuela moving against the USA in some way. When countries are falling apart, they often times need a "foreign devil." The United States fits that perfectly for them and many others.

"Frankly America does not have the resources to take military action against Venezuela at this time. "

Like a broken record.
