A new petition calling on the Trump administration to formally recognize the so-called antifa as a “terrorist organization” has generated nearly 300,000 signatures in a week — well beyond the threshold that is supposed to trigger a formal response from the White House. But there’s been no indication under President Trump that it will.
The petition, created by last week in the wake of the violent clashes between white supremacists and antifascists in Charlottesville, Va., argues that the group’s tactics are akin to ISIS:

I do not dare to sign the petition myself because of my job but I hope others will.
They wear maks in public. Why would they do that? Put em on the list.

They are scumbags. I've been watching them closely for the past year. They don't protest, they riot. If you disagree with their beliefs they won't hesitate to use violence. There are clips of them on youtube where they pull people out of crowds and 5 or 6 of these antifa members will beat the person. There are videos of them going through city centers smashing windows, lighting fires, and just generally destroying anything they want.
Nobody is saying they want to lock up protesters...I'm disappointed you'd even suggest that (you're smarter than that). Protesters don't do what antifa does; protesters don't destroy property or use violence against political opponents.
Excuse for a Police State... Yippie! Drone strikes against American neighborhoods, Guantanamo Bay style camps everywhere, and Soldiers on every corner with citizens wearily eyeing their neighbors. Sounds great. Nazis with de-facto Government backing.
There were those warning of civil war if Hillary Clinton got elected and they are the ones making these calls now - it's not the left that is trying to spark that flame and those of us in the middle are getting booted to one side or the other, whether we like it or not.
It's like the "preppers" on both sides are all disappointed that the economic disaster didn't lead to societal collapse and the ending of the Mayan calendar passed without a hiccup, and now they are trying to destroy the world out of spite...
When there going around promoting violence and even some say my hero is the one who kill cops. They did it to them selfs. Some over you are over exaggerating.
There are two groups you see on the news that wear black masks, Antifa and ISIS, why are you hiding your identities?
Antifa should be officially labeled a terrorist group. Full on intimidation backed up by violence and vandalism (terrorism). Black masks, pepper spray, urine bottles and clubs. Guns too. Anyone not in lockstep with them are labelled a Nazi or a racist. Physically attacked and black balled at work.
The modern hard Left has somehow managed to marry Fascism and Stalinism and are quite comfortable with it.
Where does trolling come from in circulating a petition signed by real citizens?
Trump could have started the petition. That would not invalidate it.
Either 300,000 people want Antifa to be labeled a terror group or they do not.
If the media cannot discredit the 'troll', will they try telling those 300,000 what they, the signers, really think or ought to think?
I would have signed the petition, but I did not know about it and I was at work.
The communists/anarchists of Antifa are disgusting. They want to enact yet another failed implementation of communism. Each version/flavor has failed including it may be argued the current Christian Hutterite version. I live with a cantankerous, obstinate former communist. Communism failed for them. Yet these American monkeys want to try one more time.
