The Kremlin Is Getting Ready For Next Year's Presidential Election

Ben Aris, Intellinews: Russia’s government moves from war budget to election budget

The Russian government has moved from a war budget to an election budget as social spending soars and defence spending is cut.

Well let's see.. Most people, who fiercely believe that Russians hacked the election, are in the democratic camp. Silicon valley is nearly 80% democratic. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a few hacks here and there. However. .I don't expect anything big. Because American hackers have a gut feeling that Russian counter hackers will wait for them. And they are very good. And if you do get caught as an American hacking something the Kremlin thinks is a no no, you might get targeted for a killing. Maybe not on the day of the election, but you'd have to watch your back for years to come. So yeah..unless there's a CIA backed hacking unit to provide cover so to speak, which there won't be, because no one wants to end this in a hot war, this one will go over quietly.
