Update: US: Russia is Arming the Taliban in Afghanistan (Novinite)
WNU Editor: Russia is denying these claims .... 'There is None': Moscow on Russia's Alleged Support for Taliban in Afghanistan (Sputnik). As to what is my take .... U.S. claims that Russia is helping the Taliban have been ongoing since the beginning of the year. In Russia .... if it became known that Moscow was arming the Taliban .... it would hurt Russian President Putin politically. To put it bluntly .... among the Russian public there is no sympathy or support of the Taliban .... period.
