WNU editor: US Vice President Pence believes that peace is possible in Venezuela, but I have no reason to believe that the Venezuelan government is going to change tactics and look for a political compromise with its opponents. - The trip to do on the scene reporting is shorter.
- The accommodations in surrounding nations are plusher.
The SMS wants to sell ink & bytes. They always need a foreign policy crisis somewhere, every so often.
