CNN: Exclusive: US government wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman
Washington (CNN)US investigators wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort under secret court orders before and after the election, sources tell CNN, an extraordinary step involving a high-ranking campaign official now at the center of the Russia meddling probe.
The government snooping continued into early this year, including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.
Some of the intelligence collected includes communications that sparked concerns among investigators that Manafort had encouraged the Russians to help with the campaign, according to three sources familiar with the investigation. Two of these sources, however, cautioned that the evidence is not conclusive.

Trump wasn't even a candidate on 2014, there has to be more to this than what they are staying.
Manafort was under surveillance since 2014 and no charges were brought against him until now?
If he's guilty of collusion, why did they let him keep going?
why not wait and see what they come up with or what the dismiss? why so quick to dismiss that which is being worked on at this point?
I have pointed this out a few times in the past .... but Manafort may have bent some rules in the past when he dealt with Ukraine and others. If he is indicted .... it is a courtroom that will then decide his fate. But being under investigation this long .... it makes me wonder if they really do have a case, or is this the Mueller commission trying to scare others to come forward and provide information. My money is on the Mueller Commission trying to intimidate others to come forward.
I should also add that these leaks appear to be coming from the Mueller Commission. Again .... an intimidation tactic if there ever was one.
