Uploading Equipment
Airmen load two all-terrain vehicles, two Humvees, an all-terrain forklift, four pallets of supplies and medical personnel onto a C-17 Globemaster III at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Sept. 7, 2017. The airmen are assigned to the 60th Aerial Port Squadron, 60th Medical Group and the 621st Contingency Response Wing. Within 12 hours of alert and at the request of civil authorities, one C-17 with contingency response and medical personnel aboard is expected to arrive in St. Croix and St. Thomas in support of ongoing relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
