Reuters: China says Xi transcends West as a diplomatic 'pioneer'
BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping is a diplomatic pioneer whose ideology has transcended centuries of Western international relations theory, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday, lauding Xi ahead of a congress of the Communist Party.
China has become more assertive in its foreign policy under Xi, who has touted his global Belt and Road infrastructure plan and sought to position China as a pillar of globalization.
China has also extended its global military reach, opening its first overseas base in Djibouti and using its expanding navy to take a more assertive stance in maritime disputes with neighbors.
Xi’s “diplomatic thought” was a compass for foreign relations under new conditions and had become a marker of China’s soft power, Wang said in an article in the Study Times, the official paper of the Central Party School that trains officials.

Meanwhile back at Romper Room (I mean Langley & the FBI) ignore the fact that Imran Awan penetrated the U.S. deeply and that many Democrat leaders & staff are involved.
There is no apparent concern.
- What many non-Democrats think/know is that there are many 'Louis Lerners" in the CIA & FBI. They are political hacks, partisan, wrong, criminal and stupid. There have been many Leftists in the intel community since its founding. It is amazing that the USA survived and the USSR fell.
This last point is not going away. People like Rush Limbaugh are talking about it. Just like in the 1990s it was talked about that the MSM was Left leaning, if not Leftwing. Surveys at the time were that 85% were Leftwing. Now it is completely off scale.
The story of Leftwing journalism in the MSM has not gone away in 20 years. Likewise the story of Leftwing CIA people and political hacks will not go away either.
