Al Jazeera: Rouhani hits back at Trump after nuclear deal speech

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has hit back at his US counterpart, Donald Trump, over his aggressive new strategy towards Iran, saying Tehran will remain committed to a multinational nuclear deal as long at it serves its national interests.

Rouhani's remarks came in response to a speech by Trump earlier on Friday in which the US president said he would not continue to certify the landmark deal, also signed in 2015 by Britain, France, Russia, Germany and the European Union.

Speaking from Tehran, Rouhani said Trump's speech was "full of insults and fake accusations" against Iran.

Yes Trump is not a statesman, diplomat or stupid enough to pretend that The Iranian regime is anything other than the fanatical base of hate that it is.
In America we don't need to do much research on Iran because we have over a million of their refugees living here. And what they say goes.
Freedom is great. Once planted it grows on its own in any environment.

I am old enough to know a few Iranians who were students here under the Shah and simply stayed on instead of returning because the regime we supported in Iran was a dictatorial police state, not that the change is in any way an improvement...freedom is great. stay here illegally and be free
