Times of Israel: TV report: Islamic State chiefs gather near Israel border, set up training camp
Having fled Iraq and northern Syria, several top commanders of terror group now in Golan Heights enclave, recruiting and running propaganda effort, says Israel's Channel 2.
Several senior commanders from Islamic State who recently fled from Iraq and northern Syria are now based in southern Syria, just across the Golan Heights border with Israel, and are training hundreds of new recruits there, an Israeli television report said.
Israel’s Channel 2 said the commanders have made their way to an Islamic State-controlled enclave “close to the border” with Israel. They have set up a training camp to which they have recruited 300 local youths, said the report, which showed footage apparently of the camp and training sessions.

WNU Editor: Even with the Islamic State collapsing throughout Syria .... they were still able to recruit a few hundred local men to join the cause in this region near Syria is an indication to me on how deeply routed the ideology of the Islamic State has become in Syria. The presence of this ISIS camp that is near the Israeli border is also an indication to me that Israel .... if given a choice .... would prefer Sunni-backed groups like ISIS over Iran/Hezbollah/Syria .... at least for now.

Because they are being used as a chess piece.. which is why they exist in the first place.
They also have only attacked Israel once.. followed by an apology. They also have training camps in the US.. which haven't been shut down.
When you do the math, do not be shocked if you find that there are no "good guys" and this is all a sham narrative. Our planet is ruled by the sort of people that believe ends justify means.
It is Israel's interest to leave ISIS alone.
As soon as ISIS is rolled up, Hezbollah and Iran start resting, reaming and regrouping. Then they plan another missile campaign like they did in 2006.
As long as Iran is spending sufficient blood and treasure in Yemen, Syria or Iraq, they are not attacking Israel.
Funny how once the shooting started in Syria, Israel had fewer and fewer rockets shot at it form The Gaza strip or Lebanon.
For the cause of the rise of ISIS we have to look no further than Maliki and the Coward in Chief (CINC) Obama. Maliki plays a very visceral, sharp-elbowed sectarian politics at best. Obama left a power vacuum in Iraq when he bugged-out/skedaddled/routed.
A little bird told me that there was ISIS training camp Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were secretly being flown-in and were being trained by the FBI, CIA, Americorps, and people wearing goggles sort of like Bodhi Rook in the movie "Rogue One".
The other secret training camp was in Munich, Germany.

Why should Israel care about ISIS on Syria. So long as they don't cross into Israel, they are not causing Israel any problems. Well they are in the long run, but not in the short run.
Before you worry about the long run you have to make it through the short run.
It is a sort of: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
Or the enemy of my enemy is someone I will ignore but keep a close eye-on.
After all Syria has invade Israel before.

You are no Lefty. I wish, I could share your optimism.
ISIS is defeated in Iraq and Syria. However, it is growing in Libya, Nigeria, and the rest of the Magreb. It is growing in the Sinai, The Phillipines, and Afghanistan.
Obama was correct, when he said you have to defeat the ideology of ISIS ("ideologies are not defeated with guns but better ideas.". That is as they say a necessary condition. But as they say in logic, it is is necessary but not sufficient.
We sure as Hell had to defeat the NAZIs with guns! HTF did Obama, Ther Coward in Chief (CINC), forget that? Anyone want to freaking argue we had to defeat the NAZIS with guns?
