AFP: Once promised paradise, IS fighters end up in mass graves
The Islamic State group once drew recruits from near and far with promises of paradise but now bodies of jihadists lie in mass graves or at the mercy of wild dogs as its "caliphate" collapses.
Flies buzz around human remains poking through the dusty earth in the Iraqi town of Dhuluiyah, 90 kilometres (55 miles) north of Baghdad, at a hastily dug pit containing the bodies of dozens of IS fighters killed in 2015.
"They should have ended up in the stomachs of stray dogs," local police officer Mohammed al-Juburi told AFP.
"We buried them here not out of love but because we wanted to avoid diseases."

I agree with the cremation, but we could study the genetics to see where they cane from.

In the Oedipus series of Greek tragedies on of the antagonists or protagonists is left unburied so that his spirit will walk the earth, not go to the hereafter and be restless. His daughter throws 7 handfuls of earth on his body, which is the minimum required to break the curse of that fate.
In Islam people have to be buried before the setting if the sun or the next sun setting about 24 hours.
See if that does not deter some recruits.
We could do what General Pershing did and bury them with pigs. It would be unfair to the pigs as they say.
It would be nice to get all this fighting over. We need more brain power and all these people are being wasted. Maybe with less fighting we could have people solve problems like the ITER. I just read the Europeans are not going to get it done in 20 years time if ever. But there will be jobs ... and there will be process.
