Reuters: Islamic State faces imminent Raqqa defeat, Syrian YPG says
AIN ISSA, Syria/BEIRUT (Reuters) - Islamic State is on the verge of defeat in Syria’s Raqqa and the city may finally be cleared of the jihadists on Saturday or Sunday, the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia told Reuters on Saturday.
The U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State said around 100 of the jihadist group’s fighters had surrendered in Raqqa in the last 24 hours and had been “removed from the city”, but it still expected difficult fighting “in the days ahead”.
It did not say how they had been removed or where the fighters had been taken.

Looking forward to the trials. We need a Nuremberg for those guys..show the world what they are. Filthy murderer scum who got high on amphetamines and raped and sinned and then cowardly gave up.
Most of the surrendered are probably local peasants who were conscripted to fight as teenagers or whatever. A hardcore jihadist would be unlikely to surrender and very difficult to capture while the leaders will escape to some other failed state and start again.
