Dear @realDonaldTrump: Is that one thing you resigning? I'm sure your generals told you there are zero good military options against N Korea https://t.co/uDIBg2ZQPr— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) October 7, 2017
The Hill: Dem: Trump resignation is 'one thing' that would ease North Korea tensions
Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) suggested Saturday that the only thing that could de-escalate tensions between the U.S. and North Korea was President Trump's resignation.
Lieu was responding to a tweet from Trump in which the president argued that diplomacy had failed to rein in North Korea's nuclear and missile development programs, saying that "only one thing will work."
"Dear @realDonaldTrump: Is that one thing you resigning? I'm sure your generals told you there are zero good military options against N Korea," Lieu wrote on Twitter.

WNU Editor: North Korea was a growing problem long before President Trump even contemplated entering politics, and blaming him for the current tensions ignores what South Korea and Japan have been warning for years that U.S. lack of attention on North Korea would result in the situation that we are experiencing today.

right...Trump is taking care of N. Korea!
He's done a lot more than his predecessors did.
This escalated to this point on.Obama's watch, at least if nothing else decent sanctions are now in place and Kim is second guessing himself.
Fred. Usually siding with Democrats, but on this issue both parties have really not done anything and I have to say, the window of opportunity closed under Obama. About 9 years ago, when Obama was sworn in, North Korea had no credible delivery mechanism yet. But during his tenure, the nukes and the delivery mechanisms slowly marched on to a point where they now almost have the means to credibly and reliably target the west coast. Many of these tests have been done under Trump now, but given the fact he's been in the office for only a year, I'd say he's doing at least something. He might be edging us closer towards war, but if that war has to be had, I'd prefer it now than during the next administration. Only God knows how many people have to die then. No one wants war, but feeling uncomfortable with Kim having nukes is an understatement. No one knows if he's rationale (many democratic pundits now claim he is - a few years ago when he had people executed left and right people thought differently, not now it's convenient to end the argument about war by saying he is super rational. I hate this argument because it is misleading. A psychopath can and often is absolutely rationale. The lack of empathy is what makes a psychopath a psychopath, not the lack of rationale). Anyways, I'm convinced Kim Jong Un is rationale and a psychopath. You cannot give a man like him the chance to act on international stage with nuclear weapons. Not if you want to protect the world. I was hoping the Chinese would grow up and see their special responsibility here - given that they want to be taken seriously on the world stage THIS was their opportunity. Instead, they support this murdering Bastard with everything from oil to rocket fuel to political capital to cash. US, and south Korean blood will be on their hands. And maybe other nation's blood too.
what has he done that had not been done but apply more sanctions, and still more missles sent off than under Obama...
