Byron York, Washington Examiner: At Air Force Academy, a perfect hoax for age of Trump
It's hard to exaggerate the praise heaped on Air Force Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria after his impassioned speech against racism went viral at the end of September. WNU Editor: This blog covered this story when it first broke out .... U.S. Air Force's Academy Superintendent Rebukes Students Over Racism (September 30, 2017). And to now know that the incident that sparked this speech was a hoax .... sighhhh .... the message does get lost.

Hoax or not, the message is still important because its completely relevant. It will always be relevant.
There are websites that keep track of hoaxes, which means that people are angry at false reports.
A 'report' of racism is used as a means of obtaining political power.
People will also compare the # of hoaxes to the number of real cases.
People are sick of hearing we've come a long way, but there is no end in sight. Which means there is no end in sight for preferences or pols beating up people for being racist.
