Update: FBI gave heads-up to fraction of Russian hackers’ US targets (AP).
WNU Editor: Now this is big news, and you would think that someone in the media would ask former FBI Director James Comey when he ran the agency on why did the FBI stay quiet on Russian hacking. Instead, in the spirit on being anti-Trump, this is what the press focused on instead .... Comey shares quote about freedom of the press after Trump hits CNN (The Hill). Now this story on freedom of the press from former FBI Director Comey is also an interesting one .... because as FBI Director he worked for a government that had a history on spying on reporters (no criticism from him then) .... 2013 Department of Justice investigations of reporters (Wikipedia). But this story gets even better. As to who was the FBI Director at the time who permitted this surveillance of reporters .... none other than Robert Mueller who is now investigating President Trump.
