Newsweek: North Korea Threat: Nuclear Weapons Use ‘More Probable’ Says Former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman
The former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff has admitted he is “scared to death” by the probability of nuclear weapons use – which he said is greater than it used to be.
Speaking in an interview with ABC’s This Week on Sunday, retired Admiral Mike Mullen commented on the U.S.’ increasingly volatile relationship with North Korea, stating the unpredictability of the isolated nation demonstrated the increasing likelihood of Kim John Un using nuclear weapons.
“I think it’s more probable than it used to be, and it scares me to death quite frankly,” Mullen told This Week.
