LONDON — The European Union is reportedly preparing for Theresa May's government to collapse before the New Year after the prime minister on Wednesday night lost a Cabinet minister for the second time in a week.

There is growing concern in Brussels that the increasing instability of the Conservative minority government could soon trigger a change in leadership or a general election leading to a Labour government, according to The Times.

WNU Editor: During the last election campaign I remarked repeatedly that I have never seen an election campaign run as badly as the one that was run by British PM May. She should have resigned after the election .... but she did not, and her inability to manage running a government is becoming even more glaring with each passing week. As to the question .... will her government collapse before the end of the year? My money is that it will not.

Agreed. It won't. And I think it's a bit much hype atm. Unless there's several more ministers of parliament that need to resign for sex affairs or other issues.
