The deposed 93-year-old is under intense pressure to stand down but is refusing to resign, sources claim
Pictures show a suited Mugabe locked in talks with military chief General Constantino Chiwenga and officials
But his wife 'Gucci' Grace, 52, is not shown in the images amid continued uncertainty as to her whereabouts
Military has said it is making 'significant progress' in an operation 'to weed out criminals' around the dictator
Mugabe has made his first public appearance since the coup at university graduation ceremony this morning
Police have given green light for an anti-Mugabe rally to take place tomorrow with thousands due to attend

Thousands are expected to take to the streets of Zimbabwe tomorrow in what is thought to be the first ever state-sanctioned protest against Robert Mugabe.

Zimbabwe's influential National Liberation War Veterans Association called for an anti-Mugabe rally on Saturday and said the 'game was up' for the veteran leader and his wife.

The demonstration has since been given the green light by police - another example of the growing freedoms Zimbabweans have been enjoying since Mugabe's house arrest began.
