So much to that Xi Trump friendship, after asking the US for 100 days on the north Korean issue. .what has happened in those 100 days? North Korea made more advances, China kept supplying them and didn't deliver -anything-. Instead, during those 100 days they asked for, they told the US not to attack north Korea - or else (!) - and they told the US not to send ships to Taiwan - or else (!)
What friends. Let Putin have those friends.he knows how to deal with friends who backstab you like this
They are not willing to die for each other. In fact, they are Regional rivals. The power on the rise and a power on the great decline. Throughout history, this reality has not ended well. They have already fought a war in the past and have competing claims over territory, specifically Eastern Siberia. Populated by ethnic Chinese, but controlled by Russia. It is oil and mineral rich. The perfect recipe for conflict. Russia has the experience and equipment for a prolonged engagement, but China has the numbers in an increasingly more sophisticated military. If it stayed conventional, the Chinese would eventually win. But in the end, the losing side would go nuclear and that would be it for everybody. So basically this is Russian propaganda.
Not to mention, tenuous.
