Reuters: Deutsche Bank gets subpoena from Mueller on Trump accounts: source
FRANKFURT/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. federal investigator probing alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election asked Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) for data on accounts held by President Donald Trump and his family, a person close to the matter said on Tuesday.
Germany’s largest bank received a subpoena from Special Counsel Robert Mueller several weeks ago to provide information on certain money and credit transactions, the person said, without giving details, adding key documents had been handed over in the meantime.
Deutsche Bank, which has loaned the Trump organization hundreds of millions of dollars for real estate ventures, said it would not comment on any of its clients.

I suspect this has crossed Deutsche Bank's red line as well as the red line for a number of international banks. There will be a time when we will need their cooperation and it will be less likely to be forthcoming when heavy handed techniques are used.
Ordinarily Deutsch Bank would simply refuse to cooperate while laughing in the face of the special counsel. In this case, perhaps hatred for Trump outweighs the normal response and perhaps they will cooperate but it does set a bad precedent, a bank turning over records of one it's customers in what seems to be an obvious witch hunt to a prosecution that seems obviously biased.
In the case of refusal to cooperate, the US government could sanction Deutsch Bank, however, this would be a bad idea as such sanctions will simply be skirted around and they undermine the US dollar's role as world reserve currency ultimately hastening its end and making a "hard landing" for America all but inevitable when the goal needs to be a "soft landing." Such actions run counter to American interests.
"Jay Sekulow, one of Trump's personal lawyers, said Deutsche Bank has not received any subpoena for financial records relating to the president as part of Mueller's probe.
"We have confirmed that the news reports that the Special Counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the president are false,” Sekulow told Reuters in a statement. “No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources."
He later said the bank in question was Deutsche Bank. A spokesman for Mueller declined to comment."

The private server will never look good in the eyes of people.
Can generals on down have their own private servers?
If they are caught, can they have sycophantic, brown nosing, munching FBI agents clear them?
