Well, that's their right. That's also our right to return the fire where it come from and to destroy it's support. For example the Intelligence Service of Pakistan is a large supporter of the taliban, we can send few cruise missiles on its building.

Did the U.S. have a right to be in Vichy France?

Who was the legitimate government of France, Petain or De Gaulle? No one elected De Gaulle and he was only part of a small group in comparison to the Petain's government. Vichy France did not give the U.S. authority to be on French soil. Nor did the U.S. declare War against Vichy France.

Pakistan is supposed to be an ally against the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Pakistan as a U.S. ally has provided arms, intelligence, training, and sanctuary to the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

As such Pakistan has committed war crimes out the ___.

If Afghanistan were not landlocked we would never have put up with Pakistani perfidy.
