Newsweek: Russian Military Wants to Help Trump Destroy ISIS in Iraq
Russia has offered to assist the U.S. in the final stages of the fight against the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) in Iraq after Moscow declared total victory against the jihadis in neighboring Syria.
Russia has long questioned the effectiveness and intentions of U.S. forces in the Middle East, especially in the fight against ISIS, which both Washington and Moscow have vowed to destroy. WNU Editor: Russia is saying that the Americans will not agree to such an arrangement .... US Not Likely to Accept Russia's Help in Liberating Iraq From Daesh - Ambassador (Sputnik). no wnu it is not. That decision is made by the Iraqis and the US together. The US doesn't have to work with Russia if they don't want to and Iraq can't force them to work alongside
Having said that I'd welcome collaboration
Iraq's a soverign state. If they want to work with Russia, in light of all that's gone on lately, that up to them, after all, they work with Iran.
If the Iraqi's invite in the Russian's, the US can either accept that, or leave.
