A Russian interceptor has been scrambled to stop a rogue US fighter jet from actively interfering with an anti-terrorist operation, the Russian Defense Ministry said. It also accused the US of provoking close encounters with the Russian jets in Syria.

Simple bullshit propaganda for RT, the Russian government's mouthpiece. Why would a US jet want to stop someone from bombing ISIS? Makes no sense. The reality is a Russian net can't track the F-22 even if it wanted to shoot it. It would also lose badly in a turning dog fight. This is obviously for domestic consumption. They need their people to think they are a match for the US and their is an existing US threat. Otherwise they would have to sell that the lack of democracy, a class of Russian were ripping off the country at their expense, dismal economic situation/out look, and the reality that their significance on the international scene had long since past them by was a good thing for the average Russian. Dream on!
