BBC: North Korea: UN imposes fresh sanctions over missile tests
The United Nations Security Council has voted to impose tougher sanctions on North Korea in response to its recent ballistic missile tests.
The US-drafted resolution includes measures to reduce the nation's petrol imports by up to 90%.
China, North Korea's main trading partner, voted in favour of the resolution.
The country is already subject to a raft of sanctions from the US, the UN and the EU.
Washington has been imposing sanctions on Pyongyang since 2008, freezing the assets of individuals and companies linked to its nuclear programme and banning the exports of goods and services to the country.

The world is united on this topic. ..China should take the hint and reflect on its actions,especially going forward if there's indeed war
North Korea is like a bit like a poker player who nad a ridiculously good hand and overplayed it. North Korea had/has China and Russia behind tnem. If one is in such a situation, how can they possibly fail?!!?
If one found themselves in such a situation, they could have very easily introduced or had their allies introduce a UN Security Council Resolution imposing crippling sanctions on America bringing it to its knees even forcing it to to give to give up its previous nuclear deterrent and even dismantling its entire military. This would've been easy for North Korea to achieve.
They haven't. The capacity of the human to be stupid is amazing!!.
