Reuters: Poll: Hugs and dirty jokes - Americans differ on acceptable behavior
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Americans differ widely in their views of what constitutes sexual harassment, with age and race as well as gender throwing up the dividing lines, posing a challenge for those who police for such conduct in the workplace.
The issue has been thrown into the national spotlight as a string of prominent men in U.S. politics, entertainment and the media have been felled by allegations of sexual misconduct in recent months.
A Reuters/Ipsos national opinion poll, released on Wednesday, asked more than 3,000 American adults to consider eight different scenarios and then prompted them to decide if they would personally label each to be an example of sexual harassment. The variation in responses showed a need for employers to spell out expected standards, employment experts said.

WNU Editor: The culture is changing. 20 years ago I argued with my brother on how inappropriate President Clinton's sexual behavior was .... his response was that it was about sex, and it is no one's business. An opinion that was also shared by many in the media .... and by feminists themselves at the time. Today .... if he voiced that opinion .... he would be crucified. And as for today's media and feminist groups .... a complete 180 from 20 years ago.

My old bosses were oh so smart to keep females out of their work force...moving forward we will see more gender segregation in the work place.
I agree I'm all for gender separation at work
- no more women asking you to help with software or pc (even if that's not your job and they should just take a course)
- no fear of being wrongfully accused of something they invent (not saying the metoo movement is fake but there are fakers among them)
- no more listening to why we had to have another "women in finance" or "women in xyz" club and let them spend 2hrs weekly on it and corporate pay for it
- no more balancing act about if you should ignore their latest office intrigue or cat fight with another department, or how to best stay out of it
- no more stupid politics instead of just working
- no more women complaining they should earn the same even though you do a better job, work faster and educate yourself beyond degrees (women got the degrees now, they still don't know how to do most things without help)
Absolutely for segregation. ..let's see which companies do better lol those with office intrigues and BS complaining ask day or those who actually work
The sad thing is women are so entitled and so sexist they don't even recognize their own behavior
For example in ever major corporation we have these "women in xyz" clubs. Like women in finance, women in IT or whatever it is they need to form a -women's only (!!)- club for that is financed by the department and actually promotes sexism. If never told a woman to be in finance or it or not be in those fields. Yet my money goes to finance their dreams and micro aggression and sexism. I can't join these clubs. In these clubs women promote ideas on how they can get ahead and how to push/vote each other info jobs..not by merit, I mind you. But by sex. It is the most sexist act your can imagine yet they get away with it. Un be f*ckinglievable.
I'll never ever hire a woman into my board for these absolutely exist behaviors women (!) display on a daily basis. Guys would be fired instantaneous if they'd make a men in HR club and then think about how they can get ahead not in merit but based on their dong
Just can't make this stuff up
Women in 2018 need to check their privilege or instead of 5% in board you'll see 3%, and rightfully so
