Author Of Latest Book On President Trump: 'Can't Be Sure If Parts Of It Are True'

Business Insider: The author of the explosive new Trump book says he can't be sure if parts of it are true

* "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" has set the political world ablaze.
* It contains vivid, detailed, and embarrassing accounts of President Donald Trump and those around him.
* But the book's author, Michael Wolff, says he can't be sure that all of it is true.

The author of the explosive new book about Donald Trump's presidency acknowledged in an author's note that he wasn't certain all of its content was true.

Michael Wolff, the author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.

Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.

But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing's workings, in a process Wolff describes as "allowing the reader to judge" whether the sources' claims are true.

Previous Post: So Are These Claims On President Trump True?

WNU Editor: When the book's author, Michael Wolff, says "he can't be sure that all of it is true" .... you have to wonder where this is all going. What's my take .... I hope that Michael Wolff makes public the recordings that he says he has.

I was a moderate supporter of Trump. Mostly as a way of ending the destruction wrought by the previous administration and to prevent the evil incarnate, seeker of the seat, Clinton, from attaining anymore power. Now, as I see all the effort that the forces of entrenched power are using to destroy him, my support for him is actually growing from a "tepid, we'll see" attitude to , "this guy must really be someone dangerous" to those who want to control for their own good, if not out right destroy America.

How many books accused Obama of trying to destroy the US without even pretending to do interviews in the Whitehouse? Is there a link where you take a critical view of them?

Richard Barber,
There were many books on President Obama that were critical of him, and I commented on them. Here is just one,

The difference between then and now is that books that were critical of President Obama received little (if any) attention in the main stream media. Contrast this to Michael Wolff's book and the non-stop main stream media attention that he is receiving today .... even when he admits that parts of it are not true. I always enjoy pointing out inconsistencies when it comes to political reporting .... and with Me. Wolff's book .... I can only conclude that the media is covering it in the matter that they are for the simple reason being is that they are hoping that it is true.
