Editor's Note

Friends I have not seen for a long time are passing through Montreal and want to take the GF and your truly for supper in Old Montreal. This .... coupled with the hundred and one things I had to do this morning and afternoon .... means that my usual blogging routine has been completely screwed-up.  Bottom line ....  I will put up a few posts when I get back tonight, and blogging will return to normal tomorrow morning.
