Business Insider: Russia gained a 'treasure trove' of intelligence on the US's best fighter jets in Syria
* A top US Air Force general says Russia is incorporating lessons from operating alongside US aircraft in Syria into its training.
* Russian jets and anti-air systems in Syria have been able to practice tracking US jets, including the F-22, possibly eroding its stealth advantage.
* But the US has been watching Russia too, and the US's competitors still have a long way to go before negating its air supremacy.
In the fight against the terrorist group ISIS in Iraq and Syria, US and US-led coalition jets have flown thousands of sorties and dropped tons of munitions — but in doing so, they've tipped their hand to Russian fighter jets that have eagerly stalked them.
"The skies over Iraq, and specifically Syria, have really just been a treasure trove for [Russia] to see how we operate," Lt. Gen. VeraLinn "Dash" Jamieson said at an Air Force Association briefing hosted by the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies on Thursday.

The US got more Intel because they are not stupid enough to engage in maneuvers that reveal mich about the planes capabilities.
The undisciplined Russian, on the other hand, engages on break neck maneuvers to get "behind" the American planes in dog fights that are only existent in the Russian head, revealing all kinds of info about their planes that the Americans of course record - fully knowing how the predictable Russians will behave over shared air.
