Was The Clinton-Funded Russian Dossier Used To Obtain A FISA Warrant To Spy On The Trump Campaign? Congress Now Knows The Answer

Byron York, Washington Examiner: Yes, Congress has seen Trump-Russia secret court surveillance documents. Now what?

One of the most contentious issues surrounding the Trump dossier is the question of whether the FBI used unverified material from the dossier — a Clinton campaign opposition research product — to apply for permission to spy on Americans. Investigators from both House and Senate have long wanted to see any FISA applications (that is, spying requests filed with the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court) that dealt with the Trump-Russia affair.

Now, they have seen them.

WNU Editor: The leaks are already starting .... Report: FBI Used Unverified Anti-Trump Dossier to Obtain FISA Warrant (PJ Media). This FISA warrant should be declassified and made public .... and as for the main stream media's total lack of interest in this story .... it is appalling.

What's much more interesting:

How did Trump already know this more than a year ago? Back then, about the time he became president - he was complaining about this but never presented proof. But seems not only he was vindicated but he knew 1 year ago. Wtf?

A lot of the stuff in the dossier has been verified... is this site being run by the GRU?

Anon #1,

I think he knew but did not necessarily have the proof. The best example I can think of right now is a powerful person in a corporation one is employed with wishes to destroy their career and is actively working to do this by any means of subterfuge possible. At first, there may not be a "smoking gun" to prove this but observations can be made that reveal such a thing is happened. The person being wronged will likely speak out to bring this in the open and later they will be vindicated.

As such, at the time he "knew" but now the full proof is coming out of this. Now he is officially being "vindicated."

Anon # 2,

What specifically has been verified and by whom? The Clintons and their associates have already shown themselves to be non trustworthy. As such, anything they report needs to be treated with extreme skepticism. With that said I would not doubt that certain immaterial parts might actually be true as a broken clock is right twice a day.

The bulk of the report appears to be based upon hearsay that the author obtained through intermediaries. Such evidence would generally not be admissible in a reasonable court of law. DJT is entirely correct when he points out that this is the biggest witch hunt in American history.
