Al Jazeera's Take On Today's Israel, Syria And Iranisan Military Clash

WNU Editor: Today's Israeli air strikes on targets in Syria were huge .... Israeli air strikes against Syria 'biggest since 1982' (BBC). Israeli PM Netanyahu has talked to Russian President Putin .... The Latest: Netanyahu speaks to Russia’s Putin about Iran (AP). Israeli PM Netanyahu is also warning of more strikes .... Netanyahu: Israel will hit Iranian and Syrian targets as needed (The Jerusalem Post). Russian President Putin has responded by pleading for all sides to avoid an escalation .... Putin urges Netanyahu, Syria to avoid escalation in Syria: Ifax (Reuters). Syria's allies are claiming that this is a strategic shift in the conflict against Israel .... Syrian regime allies, the downing of Israeli F-16 is a strategic shift (Arab News). The U.S. is saying that Israel has the right to defend itself .... US, Israel Say Israel Has Right to Defend Itself (VOA). The U.S. is also claiming that the Iranian drone that sparked today's fighting was a deliberate escalation on the part of Iran .... Washington Says Israel-Syria Border Incident Iran's 'Calculated Escalation' (Sputnik). As for that Iranian drone, it appears to be an American knock-off .... Iranian UAV that entered Israeli airspace seems to be American stealth knock-off (Times Of Israel).

As to what is my take on today's events .... this is not the time for Syria and its allies to get into a shooting war with Israel. So why the provocation with a drone .... I guess Iran wants to make a statement. My prediction .... I would not be surprised if Israel launches more airstrikes in the coming days.

How long is any nation supposed to sit still as their airspace is violated day in day out?.
Why Israel is even surprised at this l don't know?

LOL. Hey faz are referring to 759 Israeli air violations totaling 3,188 overflight hours, reported over 4 months July-October 2017, an increase of 80% over same months in 2016 over sovereign Lebanon and Syria? Of course, though, Israel is the eternal victim. Never the initiator of aggression, only the recipient.

I see people in southern Lebanon, the country whose land, water and airspace have been violated by the land-stealer's aggression for over 40 years, have hung banners praising the shoot down. Good for them.

Actually yeah, when you fly over a,sovereign nation again and again eventually you should expect a response.
They got off light.

The resistance axis 1. Israel 0.

Don't fret though, US taxpayers will surely pay for the repairs of those damaged F-15's.
