I think he gets paid for that work. Not sure he’s going to share everthing.
One of the many reasons why I started this blog was to document and track the many conflicts in the world, and how it impacts foreign policy. But my expertise is understanding how this will impact business/commodities/investments/etc.. I have a very good track record in this regard, and people do pay me for my insights. Would I like to share my views on how today's conflicts impact the economy/business/etc. world .... I can answer that with a big yes. People are far more interested in following business/economics/money/etc. ... than following wars/international conflicts/and defense issues. But one of the conditions that I must respect with my clients is that they want me to keep this intel confidential, and as long as they pay me I do.
