Former US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama stand beside their portraits after their unveiling at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC, on Monday
WNU Editor: The above picture is from here .... Obamas unveil their official portraits as former president compliments artist for capturing Michelle's 'hotness' while Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks applaud (Daily Mail). What's my take .... the longer I look at it, the worse it gets.
Update: Groan. I hope this is not true (see link here).

Not one single person on my Facebook or Twitter pages who commented on the portraits thought that Michelle's was even close in likeness.
Yeah - it's true. The Obamas were never good at listening to anyone else but themselves. Like those whom might have advised against this particular sitting with that particular artist. LOL!

Who care about Obama now.......
is that an ivy wall he's sitting in front of? That's not going to sit well with his fellow White Sox fans...
I think the painting of him is quite good - not stellar, especially not the background. ..but Michelle's face is indeed way off. Anyways..no one will care tomorrow :) and. ..can you imagine what Trump's painting will look like? Haha
Michelle O's portrait is missing her signature death scowl.
the pettiness, gossipy, girly snark here tells us more about the commenting people than the subject under discussion
