Bloomberg: Risk of Conflict in Northern Syria Between U.S., Turkey Rising
* American troops are embedded with Kurds in Turkey’s crosshairs
* Both sides say they talk regularly, but no sign of a fix yet
Turkey says it’s talking to the Americans. The U.S. says it’s talking to the Turks. Politicians and generals in the two countries are in almost constant communication, judging by their public comments.
There’s no indication that any of this talk has resolved the fundamental argument that’s threatening to bring NATO’s two biggest armies into direct conflict in northern Syria.
When Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan launched an offensive there last month against U.S.-backed Kurdish fighters, he started in an area where American troops aren’t embedded with their allies.

About time amerixa leaves syria. Invading shit force there illillegal
Erdogan trashed their military after the "supposed" coup several years ago. The Air Force has been gutted. I hope they do not come to blows but the USA would win. Incirlik is worrisome and the US should probably leave it and move somewhere else.
600 combat aircraft is not gutted, they still have over 40000 personnel and enough pilots trained to NATO standards.
