Reuters: End game looms for South Africa's Zuma

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - African National Congress (ANC) leader Cyril Ramaphosa said on Wednesday he is holding direct talks with Jacob Zuma over a transition of power, in the strongest indication to date the South African president will step down after years of scandal.

Zuma, in power since 2009 and beset by corruption allegations, has been in a weakened position since Deputy President Ramaphosa replaced him as ANC leader in December. Ramaphosa has talked of a transition of power since he took over as leader of the ANC.

The 75-year-old Zuma has been South Africa’s most controversial president since the end of white-minority rule in 1994, overseeing a tumultuous nine years marked by economic decline and numerous allegations of corruption.

@WNU Kim sends his sister to the Olympics. Given what happened to his half brother (nerve agent assassination), what do you think happens if his sister dies? Nuclear war on or off? Who benefits most killing her? Wars between nations have started for less and for the same. Including a world war.

If San Francisco does get nuked (and even latest missile defense shield test in Hawaii failed, so it looks more and more like an absolute possibility from a capabilities perspective), the cost to the US economy will be in the trillions, the race for AI will be lost to China (as most tech and science talent sits there) and ultimately the claim for world domination. Could all be set in motion by making it look like Americans killed her. Nork nukes SF. US retaliates against Nork''s Pyongyang (worth only like 50bn), China comes "to rescue" etc. ..With trillions and trillions at stake and for others to win, you know that even bodyguards and CCTV etc cannot protect her. I'm talking state sanctioned assassination using morphable hybrid micro drones and nerve agents. Won't even cost you 10 million to do, including prototyping, test runs, training, compartmentalisation and subsequent 3-4 level elimination. Maybe 50mil for cool extras. Joking, of course, but you can't tell me certain people don't look at similar options^^
