Politico: Kim Jong Un to send sister as delegate to South Korean Winter Olympics

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un is sending his sister to the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang as the country’s representative, officials said Wednesday, making her the first of the Kim dynasty to travel to South Korea since the end of the Korean War in 1953.

South Korea’s Unification Ministry said North Korea told the group that Kim Yo Jong would be part of the delegation, which would be led by North Korea’s head of state, Kim Yong Nam.
