The Guardian: Russian exile Nikolai Glushkov found dead at his London home
Counter-terrorism unit investigates death of Berezovsky friend who claimed political asylum in UK after fraud conviction.
A Russian exile who was close friends with the late oligarch Boris Berezovsky has been found dead in his London home, according to friends.
Nikolai Glushkov, 68, was discovered by his family and friends late on Monday night. The cause of death is not yet clear. One of his friends, the newspaper editor Damian Kudryavtsev, posted the news on his Facebook page.
Without confirming the man’s name, the Metropolitan police said the counter-terrorism command unit was leading the investigation into the death “as a precaution because of associations that the man is believed to have had”.
It said there was no evidence at present to suggest a link to poisoning in Salisbury of the Russian former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia. The Skripals remain in a critical condition.

WNU editor: Too early to pinpoint the cause of death for Nikolai Glushkov. He was 68 .... and he could have died from natural causes. But his death .... this close to the attempted assassination of the Russian former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter .... one can understand why no one is taking any chances. And speaking of Sergei Skripal .... this report on the Russian chemist who developed the nerve agent that was used in the attempt to kill Sergei Skripal is disturbing .... Only Russia could be behind U.K. poison attack: toxin's co-developer (Reuters).

The poison method fits Russian past practice in England The English are consumed by Brexit and the EU is treating England like crap. Why not test the Europeans and brazenly take out a Putin enemy? Putin is a master opportunist and a good judge of character. He is lethal when sniffing weakness. Now is a good time to do some housekeeping. I see no probability the EU will support England with tough measures. This may be one of those cases were England’s staunchest supporter is the USA.
Remember, this is a trend that started last year with all these Russians dying, including the Russian ambassador who got assassinated on camera. .it's a long, long list of Russians dying under suspicious circumstances..
