PJ Media: SOUTHCOM Commander: Terror Networks 'Reach Deep Into Our Hemisphere' in 'New and Surprising Ways'
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The commander of U.S. Southern Command said there's "significant concern" in the Western Hemisphere about "the ability of radicalization to occur via the internet" and create terrorists in their home countries, as well as the return of foreign fighters who spent time in Syria.
"The threats that we and our partners face in the region are a chief concern to many," Adm. Kurt Tidd told reporters at the Pentagon, underscoring "the sophistication, adaptiveness and considerable financing leveraged by criminal and extremist elements."

WNU Editor: When you read stories like this one .... Teen drawn to ISIS brought homemade bomb to Utah school, police say. .... that is when you know that radical ideologies do have an appeal to a small segment of the population, and unless you want to shut down the internet, this appeal will continue to fester for a long time.

I worked in banking and visited my grandmother who was living with my aunt, her husband and four kids. The husband, Johnny immigrated from Scotland when he was two years old. He had never been back to Scotland in his life but he loved Scotland. His accent was so broad you could hardly understand him. He raised his children on Scottish history.
Once of my cousins a 13 year old came into the kitchen where I was conversing with his mom and dad. He verbally and vehemently attacked me with "If your banks won't take our notes, we won't take yours!" He was literally ready to assault me when his dad jumped in. He didn't even calm down when I told him the reason why "our notes" meaning Scottish pounds could were not being accepted.
After I explained that The Royal Bank of Scotland has issued a statement that all Scottish pound notes accepted by foreign banks had to be sent to Scotland on a collection basis. It became impossible for someone with a note to get it converted when presented except with a 2 - 3 week delay. He was stilled riled up. He had never been to Scotland.
I really believe that if Canadian Troops had wandered through Glasgow killing people at random I would not have made it out of that house alive.
The ideologies which have already infiltrated will gel and then it will only be a matter of time before there is open warfare, albeit in small doses, in the US and
probably Canada.
