US Ambassador To The U.N. Nikki Haley: 'U.S. Prepared To Act To End Chemical Weapons Attacks In Syria'

DW: US threatens retaliation against chemical weapons attacks in Syria

US Ambassador Nikki Haley has said the US remains "prepared to act" to end chemical attacks and "inhuman suffering" in Syria. She also circulated a draft UN ceasefire resolution to replace an earlier "failed" truce.

The US warned at the UN on Monday that it would react to any chemical weapon attacks in Syria as it proposed a new 30-day-ceasefire in the rebel-held enclave of eastern Ghouta .

"We also warn any nation that is determined to impose its will through chemical attacks and inhuman suffering, most especially the outlaw Syrian regime: The United States remains prepared to act if we must," Ambassador Nikki Haley told the UN Security Council.

She reminded the council that President Donald Trump had ordered missile strikes against a Syrian government airbase in April 2017 after accusing forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of using sarin gas against civilians.

first we had a redline on gas under Obama; now we are "prepared" to do something...Fazman: have you any evidence that we listening to Israel to hit infrastructures when in fact we are NOT doing anything. You really ought not confuse your beliefs with what is really happening, and, in this instance, nothing

This is just an intractable situation. Until the situation presents itself as a clear threat to the US, I think this game will continue. If we bombed countries for their evil deeds, we would need loads of bombs.

Everything in this region is conjecture, very little on this or any other forum offers proof and are matter of opinion, including the majority of your posts.
Have you forgotten about the last tomahawk strike?, it has moved past Obama's red line long ago.
There was a Intel article last week that suggested my hunch, then this statement happens.
