Long War Journal: LWJ Exclusive: US quietly continues Yemen air campaign
The United States’ air campaign in Yemen has shown no signs of slowing down. US forces conducted 12 airstrikes against terrorist groups in Yemen over the last month that were not publicly announced, FDD’s Long War Journal has learned.
Maj. Josh T. Jacques at US Central Command Communication Integration said yesterday in an email that “U.S. forces have conducted twenty-two (22) strikes against AQAP and ISIS-Y terrorists in Yemen 2018.” The US had conducted 10 counterterrorism strikes in Yemen when CENTCOM last issued a press release updating figures in early in February.
The latest data put this year’s number of strikes on-pace to fall just short of last year’s record surge. In 2017, the United States conducted a record 131 strikes in Yemen.

Such a change in the USA regarding the reporting of school shootings would no doubt please the gun manufacturers. Oh and the NRA too.
Why blame the gun manufacturers for school shootings? Blame the sick, Godless culture created by liberal (or shall I say "progressive" or should I really call them Marxist) values. Their masters tell the media to suppress news of US Drone attacks in Yemen, and those gutless media wh*res obey without complaint. Guns are not the problem, liberals are.
Sorry Roger, I can't help it if the gun manufacturers are responsible for the armed mayhem killing Americans. They need an attitude adjustment if they want to ensure they stay in business because sooner or later they will pay the price. That will come when the people actually focus on the perp companies and not their hand maiden the NRA who takes all the heat.
Americans should be thankful that the founding fathers didn't see fit to enshrine having a conveyance, or, it would be mayhem on the highways similar to the gun mayhem.
Although, while some say it is mayhem on the highways it would be a lot worse but for regulations and forced modifications for safety in vehicles, initiated and fought for my none other than Ralph Nadar.
If they can rein in automobiles they can rein in guns as well you know there are many who should not have access to a gun. That is unless you don't read the news.
Bob, the founding fathers protected guns so that American patriots /citizens could protect their liberty and freedom from the government if need be. automobile accidents and automobile suicides kill and maime more Americans than guns, yet leftists do not go after Ford and Toyota. Guns are but tools, and protected by the Constitution, something American leftists are infuriated about, for reasons they don’t really understand. And what do you think the trigger for such action against the established government would be keeping in mind that half the gun owners might be happy to support an errant government? Do you think you might re-think your stand on unfettered gun access if it had been your kid killed in Florida or would you be out gunning for the kid that did the deed?
The woman who was killed by her two year old kid in Walmart is a prime example of how if the gun bearing folk of America cannot police themselves then guns should be disallowed as the 2nd has lost all meaning and purpose.
As for cars, my point is that the carnage on the roads would be a lot worse if the Constitution forbade infringement on owning a conveyance. Following the lesson of the 2nd amendment it would be an awful lot worse then it is today.

I sincerely doubt your assertion that 50% of gun owners would take up arms in support of unconstitutional gun confiscation. Apologies for the late response.
