Reuters: Exclusive: Trump to boost exports of lethal drones to more U.S. allies
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump will soon make it easier to export some types of lethal U.S.-made drones to potentially dozens more allies and partners, according to people familiar with the plan.
Trump is expected to ease rules for such foreign sales under a long-delayed new policy on unmanned military aircraft due to be rolled out as early as this month, the first phase of a broader overhaul of arms export regulations.
U.S. drone manufacturers, facing growing competition overseas especially from Chinese and Israeli rivals who often sell under lighter restrictions, have lobbied hard for the rule changes.
The White House is expected to tout the move as part of Trump’s “Buy American” initiative to create jobs and reduce the U.S. trade deficit.

Given that the overwhelming majority of these allies are worthless, perhaps they do need to get these things elsewhere. Then again, if they go elsewhere, they may be more likely to actually use these things against us than if we sell them to these allies. Tough decisions all the way around.
I suspect in many cases these countries are using foreign aid already supplied by the US to buy these weapons. Ultimately the US is likely not benefiting, as a whole, from any of this.
The USA's is probably better than everyone elses.
"Probably," "maybe," the only way to "know" it to test each against each other in combat and find out. Very respectfully I think it unwise to blithely assume that ours are "better than everyone elses."
Were it not so serious I would find it comical how people from certain foreign countries want America to stand up to this country, that country, or the other country. They sort of remind me of fans screaming from the stands for a player or team to do this, that, or the other. In this case, it entertainment. In the case of US foreign policy, it is our people who will bear the brunt of a bad decision, NOT THEM!! It's rather easy to be bold when it comes to the lives and welfare of others. Lets see how brave some of these people are when their countrymen and women are on the chopping block!!
Of course US foreign policy is often driven by ideology. This makes it easy for foreign powers to manipulate us.
I wonder if Turkey has been left off the list of USA Approved?
Has Taiwan been added to that list?
Umm Poster, calm down little snowflake, people are not clamoring for Russian and Chinese equipment if the US and Western stuff are available. Also, this a fact by the way, the USA's military equipment are a proven fact with the Reapers, Predators, etc..not sure where you get your opinion from but maybe crack open a history every once in a while and learn something
