Are M-13 Gang Members 'Animals'?

The Hill: Trump on immigrant gang members: 'These aren't people,' they're 'animals'

President Trump on Wednesday condemned some gang members in the country illegally as "animals" and vowed to strengthen the country's immigration laws.

“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in, we’re stopping a lot of them, but we’re taking people out of the country, you wouldn’t believe how bad these people are," Trump said during a meeting with California officials who oppose the state's "sanctuary city" laws.

“These aren’t people. These are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a rate that’s never happened before," Trump added.

Trump was responding to Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims, who expressed frustration over how California’s sanctuary city laws have limited the ability of local law enforcement officials to enforce federal immigration laws.

WNU Editor: The media is saying this .... Trump says illegal migrants are 'animals, not people' in half-minute rant about gangs (The Independent). But it is very clear to me in the above video that President Trump is calling M-13 gang members animals .... not migrants. This is why FOX news has the audience that it has .... they are very good at embarrassing what the main stream media sometimes peddles .... Anti-Trump media takes president out of context to incorrectly claim he called illegal immigrants 'animals' (FOX News)

The MS-13 infiltration is real, in past years these gangsters have been crossing north in urban (more risky) border areas. And while these crossings are less successful, it keeps them out of the rural (out of the way) crossing areas. As of late there has been a much greater showing/apprehension out in Rural areas, and agents are now regularly catching these unmistakingly tattooed gangsters out in the boonies. What does this mean? Not sure but the trend is real so either they are becoming more desperate not to be caught “a first time”, or beefed up security is forcing them to look for more rural and strenuous routs in.

yes. they are animals. but lumping them in and among children born here from a parent who came here illegally is not exactly the same thing.Nor the many hispanics who came here illegally because so many citizens hired them for cheap labor. The use of the animal thing is clearly a label used for all Hispanics, legal or otherwise we know a dog whistle when we spot one. And this is hardly the first such time we have heard this from Trump

That the headline is asked shows how Stalinized the MSM has become.

ICE claimed a Dreamer was “gang-affiliated” and tried to deport him. A federal judge ruled that ICE was lying.

How can these news networks even be considered a credible source anymore? It's scary enough when people are falling for fake Facebook/Twitter posts by anonymous individuals or groups with a political agenda but it's even scarier when news outlets are stooping down to the same level as them. Props to Fox for giving the facts.

FRed,

Unlike you, we get outside and can see the gang graffiti.

We can read news reports of MS13 murders in the U.S., because we can do something but look at dirty pictures and vote Democrat.

Basically you argued that you found the exception to the rule and thus that negates the rule. That is all those homicides and other crimes did not happen. Your argument is pretty low even for a Democrat.
