From CNBC: President Donald Trump wrote a letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un saying that their planned summit next month in Singapore was cancelled.
"Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting," Trump wrote in the letter, which was released Thursday morning.

I bet 1 dollar it will happen. They just destroyed their nuke testing facility which was already radioactive.
He needs to go forward.
I believe there is an old adage that says 'when your nuclear test facility is no longer viable, build another'. They may have to relocate some people, but, there are always costs associated with stuff like this.
So our oatmeal-brained, dips%^t-in-chief won't get a Nobel now?
Only the best people can form such a smooth functioning, coherent foreign policy.
Pompeo, Bolton, Jared, Trump, AIPAC. The Best.
I forgot to add the dummmy, VP Pence. The Best people.
Who's surprised it is cancelled? Posturing, nothing more.
Some progress has been made. Given the obvious horrendous conditions in North Korea it is possible Trump has planted seeds of change among Kim's associates. Read Trump's letter, it all but encourages major changes in the DPRK ruling circles in exchange for great wealth for the country. Kim's family standing in the way? Those people know how to fix that problem.
How are they gonna pay for it? The only reason they came to the table in the first place is they are flat broke.
I think that Kim was truly infatuated with the idea of establishing an accord with the US and Soko. He sees Trump as extreme and unpredictable which is something he wished to emulate and relate too and was salivating at the riches to be had if they could get the sanction relief. However I think the meeting with China brought his focus back domestically and he realized he nearly made a drastic mistake in working with the American enemy that is almost akin to bending a knee to the western giant. Pride has everything to do with the political climate worldwide it's no different here. Trump has saved face with this eloquently written letter but Mark my words this is a clear passive-aggressive warning. Trump is angry, Kim is feeling foolish in the eyes of China. This could heat up explosively if they are not carefully. I could be wrong and indeed I hope so, unfortunately that would require me to trust that these children sitting in power have control over themselves, which I don't...
He got our hostages back without paying a ransom, oatmeal cookies for all.
"for the good of both parties, but to the detriment of the world..." never a line has been so utterly unintelligently been penned in a letter from someone in such an office.
That statement just... makes me want to claw my eyes out at how stupid it is.
I stand by my analysis. The next steps from the norks will be quiet.
