WNU Editor: Everyone I know in China has told me in private that they hate this system. But even though it is universally hated .... it is being implemented, and it is being expanded to account for other activities. It is also extremely effective in crushing dissent and/or punishing those who do not conform to the system. To say that I shudder on where this will eventually lead is an understatement ... because my gut tells me that this is rapidly becoming the modern Orwellian way to control people .... whether we like it or not.

The liberal feeling is " because we are knowing people we deserve to run the country". That's the revenge of dictatorship against the Democracy.
The problem with this system, like any system is that it doesn't favor long term users. You might of called the dictator a dick when you were 20 and when your 50 that shit is still with you. Must like facebook mutes, the longer your on facebook, the longer your punishment.
