Facebook is just irresponsible...or very good if CIA is on the loop.

Obviously Facebook works with intelligence services for years. This is well known. What exactly is done is unknown. So it is NOT the fault of Facebook. It performs like intended. It's not a bug. Facebook is for connecting people. It is not for discriminating and making decisions of you might be a terrorist ffs and cannot have friends ffs. Who are we to tell Facebook to suddenly become super intelligent and use AI etc to überstand who is in fact a terrorist, who might be just interested in the subject (think reporters);etc. To suggest Facebook should go beyond offering a messaging and gaming platform AND decide if you're a terrorist or should be monitored, now that is 100% Orwellian! Because what's terrorism? Soon you'll be listed as terrorist for buying weapons in the US or voicing dissent. Both protected under the constitution but if you ask Facebook to start classifying people based on intent (eg suspected extremist views), the this is extremely dangerous and open to abuse. Just saying.

I think Facebook should connect terrorists (like everyone else), but instead of judging/not connecting, just flag a person for review by cia. But there's minimal work Facebook should do. They're a private company. They should not be asked to classify people for the government ffs.
