The Iranians and their proxies are entering a phase of "go big or go home". The "go big" is of course to make headlines and perhaps force certain luke warm allies to brace up and give them stronger support, plus they might get lucky (very doubtful) with any conflict they may get into through this strategy. "Go home" would be disaster. There are too many players committed too far into the current strategy for this to be attractive.
