Iran took the bait. Israel embarrassed them with the nuke file heist and blew up their assets in Syria. Iran could not wait to use their surrogates and made a direct attack on Israeli positions. This then allowed a massive counter strike. Given Iranian volatility they will be even more enraged and strike again allowing Israel to hit back even harder. Israel has been waiting for payback for a long time and Iran is providing the justifiable reason. Well played.

Agreed, Iran is in no position to engage Israel on the battlefield in Syria, it seems that Israel has read their playbook, and is punishing them dearly.

I agree but l wouldn't call 20 rockets a serious Iranian response.
Israel best not be complacent as iran does have a bogeyman in the closet

If things were going Iran's way, they would have waited and built up their forces more.

Now they have been goaded to once more show their face.

They always do, but today they more egregiously showed their face such that even the Euro leaders have to condemn their actions in some manner.
