Reuters: Iran says Europe's support for nuclear deal not enough
TEHRAN (Reuters) - The European Union is not doing enough to preserve the benefits for Iran from the 2015 international nuclear pact following the withdrawal of the United States, Iran’s foreign minister told the EU’s energy chief on Sunday.
Miguel Arias Canete, European Commissioner for energy and climate, said Tehran wanted the 28-nation bloc to act fast to preserve its oil trade with Iran, and to consider making direct euro-denominated payments for Iranian oil to Iran’s central bank, bypassing the U.S. financial system.
“With the withdrawal of America .... the European political support for the accord is not sufficient,” Mohammad Javad Zarif told Arias Canete in Tehran, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported.
Since President Donald Trump announced on May 8 that he would pull the United States out of the deal, the U.S. Treasury said Washington would reimpose a wide array of Iran-related sanctions after the expiry of 90- and 180-day wind-down periods, including sanctions aimed at Iran’s oil sector and transactions with its central bank.

I bet many of the Eastern European nations do not agree with Canete. It is nice when you give people municipal, regional, national and supranational elections, so many elections that person cannot follow. Then it is is easy to sway public opinion with a dog media. People are working paying taxes and follow 4 different elections? It is just the way people like Canete like it. No accountability. How can there? You can't keep up. Maybe that is the way they like it.
I think euro-denominated payments are good thing. It is a good thing for the U.S. in the long run.
Iran wants non-dollar denominated payments so why are they balking? They want more. They want more money. They are play chicken.

This should more than clear for anyone to understand.
EU is either stupid or hypocritical.
First, many European companies have to make a choice between a 330 million people market vs a 80 million one.
And second,a lot of European products are incorporating American's one.
The game is over.
Too many European leaders have no children, their judgement cannot be trusted. All they play is the pecking order. They are for the here and now. That is they climb the ladder and once at the top, if they are removed it is disaster.
I don;t know which is worse that or having so many children and having to be so avaricious like Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid to provide for them.
